How Burst works

How the machine works.

01

Reference price, printed live

Every market tracks a reference price built from real marketplace sales and oracle feeds: graded-card auctions, sneaker resale, watch dealers, LBMA metals. It updates around the clock.

02

Long or short the chart

Open a position with USDC collateral and up to 10× leverage. No shipping, grading, or storage. You trade the price, not the item.

03

Cash-settled, any time

Close whenever you like, 24/7, weekends included. Profit and loss settle in USDC at the reference price the moment you exit.

FAQ

The honest small print.

What am I actually trading?

A cash-settled contract on the reference price of a real-world asset. If a PSA 10 Charizard's reference price rises 10% while you're long, your position gains 10% of its notional. You never hold the card.

Where do the prices come from?

Each market lists its source on the trade page: graded-card indexes like PriceCharting and Card Ladder, StockX for sneakers, WatchCharts for watches, and LBMA and Chainlink feeds for metals. Prices are aggregated and smoothed against outliers.

What are the fees?

0.10% of notional on open and 0.10% on close. The order panel shows the exact fee before you confirm.

Can I get liquidated?

Yes. Leveraged positions are closed automatically if the reference price moves against you by roughly your margin. The estimated liquidation price is shown before you open.
